A gaping maw welcomes you to the good ship "northern expedition", for a 22 hr ferry ride in the so-called "inside passage".
Bad luck for us - the weather has returned to "seasonal", which means it's going to rain every day!
Poor lighting, dark and overcast, with a 4PM departure, it became dark quickly, and so for the next few hours, there wasn't much inspiring to see. But as they say there, maybe tomorrow will be better, eh?
